History & Chinese Culture

Events for all ages · In-school programs

Interested in learning more about Chinese cultural history in the Monterey Bay? Come learn with us at our history events — talks with historians and community leaders, community walks, and festival celebrations — or book us for in-school events.

Our history events have featured historian Sandy Lydon, community leader George Ow Jr., and Stanford historian Gordon Chang, and build on Chinese Gold and the Santa Cruz Dragons project.
