Flex Kids Culture Ribbon Cutting
Flex Kids Culture & the Scotts Valley Chamber of Commerce invite you to join us on Thursday, September 19th, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM for a Ribbon Cutting and Networking Event. Drinks, music, and light refreshments will be available during this FREE event. We welcome our community members to join us in celebrating this special occasion!
Flex Kids Culture is excited to develop the Santa Cruz area’s first club to encourage local, first generation Chinese -American to learn about their cultural heritage.
The club’s goal will be to enable local Chinese-Americans to better understand their roots and it will also showcase the historical contributions of Chinese -Americans in the Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay area. The club will present the history and culture of Chinese people in their historical setting as well as in the local setting, as immigrants.
Flex Kids Culture will work to develop relationships with local Chinese-American leaders to create media, activities and events to invite, gather, and educate local Chinese-Americans.
Culture Exchange Program
Flex Kids Culture is developing a summer program for students from Middle through to High School. This program will enable local students from Bay Area to travel to China, while students from China are hosted here. We will aims to promote cross-cultural understanding the language skills development.
Chinese School in Santa Cruz area
Flex Kids Culture offers Chinese language classes, Calligraphy, and Chinese paintings.
Go Club (Chinese Go club for all Level Players)
Instructor: Chao Xie, a 7-dan player in the American Go Association.
